Hi! I’m Lauren.
I’m a full time stay-at-home mom to three awesome kiddos, wife to Sam, and, most importantly, follower of Jesus. I am located in Pittsboro, NC but also travel to the surrounding areas of the Triangle. Most days you can find me chasing the kids, dishing out constant snacks, or buried under a pile of laundry. But in the quieter moments of nap time or late hours at night, you can find me at my computer working on photos. I like to call this photography gig my “jobby” which truly wouldn’t be possible without my amazing husband holding down the fort for weekend photo sessions and evenings spent editing.
Having this job is a total “pinch me” moment. I never in a million years would have guessed that this is something that I’d be doing, but I absolutely love it! It is a huge blessing to capture special moments and create beautiful images for people to love and cherish forever.
Quick little intro for ya!
I’m a UNC alum (Go Heels!) with a degree in child development. I LOVE all things baby. Newborn sessions are my favorite, and now that my babies are no longer babies, I adore being able to snuggle yours! I also enjoy baking and party planning. I’m famous (in my family) for my royal icing sugar cookies and homemade cinnamon rolls. I’m a solid type B personality (married to a hard core type A, of course) and an Enneagram 2 (which means giving people photos they love absolutely WARMS my heart). Iced lattes are my love language (right next to words of affirmation, told ya I’m a 2!), and I never turn down ice cream (but the very best is Blue Bell’s Oatmeal Cream Pie)!
